Try reducing the amount of caffeine you drink. Sure that cup of joe in the morning helps kick start your day, but the caffeine in your system makes you jittery and more likely to feel stressed. Try drinking a cup of green tea in the morning instead. It will reduce the caffeine but still give you a little morning shove. Plus it is healthier for you! In the end you will have more stress reduction.
Having a pet has been proven to reduce stress. If you are an animal person consider adopting a shelter pal. But be sure you can handle the added responsibility of having a pet and realize it’s a forever thing!
Take a few seconds to stretch. Roll your head from side to side and stretch your arms. Do this often when sitting in front of a computer to reduce muscle tension and help you relax.
